Florida Women’s Law Group is pleased to announce Heather Quick, Owner and Managing Attorney, has been appointed to serve on the Family Law Rules Committee for the Florida Bar. Ms. Quick’s term will run July 1, 2015-June 30, 2016. This will be Ms. Quick’s second term.
Ms. Quick’s appointment is a testament to her dedication for family law. It is her desire to ensure all women are treated fairly through the family court judicial system.
“I am honored to be appointed to this committee. Women need a voice within the system and I am here to serve for them,” said Quick.
Florida Women’s Law Group is solely dedicated to assisting women struggling with divorce or family law issues.
Ms. Quick will attend three major meetings as part of the committee. During these meetings the committee will work to draft rules and procedures for family courts.
The Family Law Rules Committee works with family law rules, judicial administration rules and rules regulating the Florida Bar to revise and create rules and forms. It also provides analysis and input for the impact rule changes will have upon the practice of family law.
